WILD THING!

Dear Friends,

Can you guess my costume? I'll give you a hint. I make mischief! (well...not in real life.) And sometimes, people call me WILD THING!

I am dressed up as Max who wears a wolf suit from WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, by Maurice Sendak. Thank you to Ms. Mystery Robin for the fun idea! This is one of my favorite books because Max loves adventures and he loves to sail. I like the sea, too.

Here I am making mischief!

BE STILL!

Let the wild rumpus start!

It's fun to make believe. I hope you do it, too. Have a fun and safe Halloween, and let the wild rumpus start! (trick-or-treating, I mean!)

Love,
Penguin

P.S. What is YOUR favorite character from a book?

  3. Wow. Amazing! Best costume ever! I'm intrigued... who made it for you, Penguin? Do you have a dad or a mum who makes great costumes? Or a teacher? Or did you make it yourself? Or perhaps you bought it? I need to know!

From Lili, 5: Today I saw the ocean, the Specific Ocean. It has VERY BIG waves. Too big for you, Penguin.

    1. Dear Ms. Franziska,
My mama made my costume! Mama's always make the best ones because they make them with love. And I'm not allowed to buy things because people won't take snowballs for money. I'm not sure why. I make them very round.

      Dear Lili,
I like the Specific Ocean!!! (and I like how you say it) In fact, I like all the oceans because I love going to new places. When there are big waves, I can swim below them to keep me safe. But sometimes, it's fun to go up and down on them. I'm a good swimmer.

      Love,
      Penguin

  4. Ooh, and favourite character... Mine is definitely Stella (Marie-Louise Gay). She has a wonderful life view. (She says the sky goes red at night because the sun is putting on her red pyjamas, that kind of thing.)

    Now I'll ask Lili hers...
